I'm trying to setup my File System connector and when I choose to Test Storage Settings I get a failure.
I'm using the SP 2010 Beta 1 as a trial.
I recall in previous installations I had to manage the user/groups that Sharepoint defaults to. My logged in user has full rights to the UNC path. But, when I attempt to use SharePoint to test it we get an error.
Error encountered saving test.dat using this profile. The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be searched. Inaccessible logs: Security.

Bob, Are you running Windows 2008? This is usually related to a problem with ULS registering the StoragePoint event source with the event log. It's basically a registry permissions problem. So it could be UAC-related if you're on 2008 or it could just be a local permissions problem on the CA server.
